Howdy
We have recently noticed a bug in the file naming for superlayer in 4.6. If you a an 8 character file such as TESTFILE, the system will not allow you to enter another 8 character file with the same 7 characters such as TESTFILD. This is not a problem, however if you add a 7 character file name such as TESTFIL the system will allow it. We found this when we tried to gen something with an alternate and it failed because the alternate was already used by the 8 character file. Has anyone else had any problems with this?

We are able to create files with the same first seven characters. I can create a file called TESTFIL and then TESTFILE. Then if I used TESTFIL and TESTFILE alternates 1 it will try to create the same file. The problem is that I am able to do this, not that I am unable.

G'Day Justin,
I've been using SL for a number of years (I must have been really bad in a previous life), and as far as I am aware, this 'hole' (call it a bug if you will) has always been there. It falls into the category of 'Traps for Young Players'.
