Dear all,

I have a rather strange problem. According to one of our clients, the user just entered the PROIV service and left it at the LOGON screen (booking a license). Anyway, they traced the CPU usage from the server and determined that this user's thread was holding nearly 30% of the CPU Power.
My questions are as follows:

1) Despite all I tried, I am unable to replicate this problem. Could someone please advise me as to how this problem can happen? For your info, the client is using Windows XP and the server is using Solaris

2) based on the screen shot, the user somehow managed to enter 'add' mode on the logon screen; where all modes are disabled! (The add button on the upper side was depressed and the word ADD appeared in the bottom right). Any idea how this works?

For your info, we're using PROIV Version 4.6 (Revision 5.0.0)

Thanks in advance

Regards

tkv8,

I seem to remember an issue like that that was resolved by a ProIV kernel upgrade.

You may want to search through old posts here.

hth,

Joseph
