103509 - Senior Level Glovia ERP Professional (5 yr+)

This is a staff role providing daily support for client ERP system, including Purchasing, Production and Financial systems modules (Purchasing/Accounting) as well as other PS modules as required by the business.
This role may also require small project work as needed.
1) Provide timely, efficient support for existing systems within the Glovia ERP applications.
2) Modify/Create batch and online Glovia (thru an Oracle data base) programs.
3) Modify/Create Cognos Shell Scripts.
4) Support Patch work and build test cases and document results.
Prioritize 5-8 Duties (Please be very specific as to the roles of this function)
5) Create and troubleshoot file server quotas and net work printer queues.
6) Evaluate business issues and recommend solutions.
7) For support or project work, communicate with customers on system requirements; discuss issues, status, feedback, etc.
8) Utilize Glovia Customer Support website for Case Management.
Daily Tasks Performed
Production support - investigation, analysis, development, testing, implementation
Provide status reports as required by problem tracking systems and supervisors
Develop/Modify programs specific to projects assigned.
Unit and system testing of programs modified or developed.
Create appropriate Change Management documents with submittal of SMR for Change Management approval.
Off-hours support including night and weekend on-call access. (If needed)
Mentor less experienced team members
Post implementation support - When appropriate adjust shift, weekends, 2nd shift and overtime.
Server and tape library monitoring and tape replacing.
Required Skills - 'MUSTS'
Strong knowledge of Glovia including ERP v7, Technical Applications (Oracle, ProVI, Cognos Report Writer, Publisher Lite), as well as working knowledge of desk top and lotus notes applications and Catia.
Strong technical knowledge of Glovia ERP system: Purchasing module including Requisitions, RFQ's, Purchase Orders, Dispatch Methods and Receiving.
Strong technical knowledge of Glovia ERP system: Accounting modules including GL, Financial Integration Management, AR/AP, Billing, Etc.
Experience with troubleshooting and patching Glovia programs to resolve implementations, upgrades or long term support of Glovia applications.
Strong verbal communication skills and good organizational skills.
Multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
Excellent problem resolution skills.
Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS'
Experience with Catia and Enovia used by Client.
Knowledge of Oracle database including tuning.
Understanding of Servers and hardware.
Familiar with Glovia Customer Support website for opening cases, finding and downloading patches/fixes and general communications with Glovia Support/Technical personnel.
Publisher: light experience.
MS Office suite (i.e. Word, Excel, etc)
Understands and adapts to new technology
