Hi Folks,

We are wrapping and OCX in another OCX to try to make ProIV happy. We had it working this AM, added another public sub in VB and now when I load the ActiveX gallery ProIV can't read the events/properties/methods. This has happened to me before and we have fiddled, fuddled, prayed, screamed, wept openly etc etc but it seems once it can't read it, it won't thereafter.

Has anyone ever had this problem and got to the bottom of it? Last time we got around it when we started the project from scratch and ended up with the same public subs etc and it worked. I cannot for the life of me figure out what breaks it nor how to fix it.

Try the following:
Register the ActiveX control.
Run PROIV ActiveX gallery.
Delete control from PROIV tab.
Add from client tab.
Check ActiveX details and maps in your function.

Hi Mark,

My trouble is that after registering, I cannot view it from the client tab. I have followed your process, even cleaned out the registry and re-registered. It seems like at some point during development we 'break' the ocx and then there is no recovery possible. Very frustrating as we can't get to the properties/events/methods thereafter.
