Hallo

Any of you have the problem where one's Icon disappears when an Editbox, for example, displays over it?

Is there a way to force the Icon to always be 'on top'? or is the solution to strategically place one's buttons?

Regards,
Yvette

And hi again,

Icons are dispalyed on the form and the editboxes are displayed later in the time cycle. They will be redisplayed when you are visiting them, so the editbox will alway take priority. There is really no way to give priority to an icon. You cannot refresh them or anything like that (as far as I know). So it really forces you to take care in the design.

Depending on the icon you could possibly get away with making it a combobox and attaching the bitmap to it. If you do not give it a GUI-height or an attached event and it will behave like any edit box.

Best of luck

Jan
