We have a report that in Function Layout Edit is set to print in column one, however it prints about 3/4 inch in from the left margin and doesn't fit the form. Is there any way - spooler settings or some other printing specifications that we can use to get this report printing farther to the left?

I would think column one should print as far left as possible, but apparently not.

Also, it is not a printer issue, it prints this way on all printers.

You may have already done this - but if you are using Windows, have you checked the printer margin settings??

Your columns may be at one AFTER the margin.

Windows is such a pain in the a--.

Are you on a Windows or Unix server?

I'd have to look up the info on Windows, but Unix will basically feed your print job through a filter that will embed margins. This can be overridden with some effort to get rid of the margins.

There is a printer margin stanza in proiv.ini which comes with margin set to 5. Change it to 0.
