I think Steven was having a gentle swipe at Scott's beloved Aberdeen FC's chances of winning the Scottish Premier League next season.Steven,
Did anyone understand that post Scott put on? All I saw was nonsense!
Yes. It was beautiful sarcasm.
For the uninitiated - Scotland has their own Premier Football League (played the correct way, with a round ball, and no picking up and running with it, and no cheerleaders).
Their league contains approximately three clubs, and the main rivals (Celtic and Rangers) meet for an 'Old Firm' match every two days.

Is one of its teams, just happen to be the one that got a new (insert choice obscene word for American) owner???
Speaking of cheerleaders, what is wrong with them, they are a nice distraction, especially when the home team is losing.

The team that Glazer has bought is Manchester United and it's hilarious watching their supporters get all upset about it.

Might I remind you Rob, that teams from the SPL have a good record against those from the EPL (or those, like Ipswich who used to be in the EPL....but arent any more

I think Stephen understands what I mean, but I fear all those years working for the dark side might have brainwashed him.

And I think you can take some consolation in the fact that the league winners next year will be managed by an ex-Aberdeen player.

Gents,I think you're getting confused. The SPL, which standards for either Scottish Premier League or Scottish Pub League, depending on your view point is a smaller, lower quality version of the English Premier League.
The team that Glazer has bought is Manchester United and it's hilarious watching their supporters get all upset about it.
What in hell do I know - after all I am a damn Yank!!!
