You are both quite right of course and I agree. In the instance I'm using it, it is very specific to the called processes and there is no reason for the parameters to be changed. It is documented (natch) so in the (very) unlikely event of anyone ever altering it the info is there to be seen.
On some sites I've worked logics are re-used. They have tools to automatically document this fact though.
