Using PROIV 5.5 with ProIsam files. I've written lots of reports in PROIV as well as SQL. It's fairly easy to get the database to create summaries that I then only have to display, but I am having a tough time doing that in PROIV when I can't use SQL statements. The best I have gotten so far is a detailed report with totals on breaks. How can I just print the totals without the detail??

Thanx in advance

I use SL and in the Function Header options you can mark "supress detail?" and you will get a totals-only report. It is in the same section as "supress first line?" and "supress header?".

Enable on entry, prints control breaks

On exit disable.

Works very nicely for one page summaries

If you can write the report function how you want why do you have to output any detail fields?
Just use dummy fields and do the totalling yourself.
