Is Pro-IV version 4.6 compatible with LDAP? Will it authenticate against the LDAP instead of using the Pro-IV login?

If not (as I suspect) are any of the future versions of Pro-IV going to be LDAP compliant for user authentication?

This is something that we have been looking at after a few enquiries. It is possible to provide the functionality in any version of PROIV but would require using an external peice of code that could be linked to the kernel and called by the logon process. You would probably be wanting to provide a more sophisticated application navigation model coupled with LDAP i.e. proper names, access profiles etc. PROIV does have such a product which we are looking at possibly driving through LDAP. Please contact your account manger for availability and information on this.
