We're running Glovia on Windows 2000 and our users have a tendency to close out their sessions when they get record locks. We've tried training them to not do it, but someone seems to close their session at least once a month. How do I prevent users from closing the ProIV client - either by cllicking on the "X" on the upper right corner of the window, or by using the menu? I've already taken away their ability to startup the Windows Task Manager.

Yeah - I'd like to know the answer to that too.
The Web Client is great, we had a demo last year I think, but the whole window close thing sounds like a problem.
Happy 100th post by the way Tony.
I think Rob's 1000th is coming soon. We should have a virtual party with e-cakes and e-drinks and e-balloons, etc.. It would be fun.

Magicians disappear all the time, but as soon as a regular person does it, everyone is all scared.

Yes...its really very sad.. isn't it

The board will probably crash and take down all ProIV systems around the world...... knowing what us coders are like with big numbers...

Woooo...
999 !
I'm lighting the candles - Chris, get the #-cakes. The e-party is starting.
I think after 1000 posts, Rob deserves to become the new Pro-IV Colonel

When we converted to Web Client, I removed the Application exit. The only way you can leave our app is to use the X.
I think Proiv could spend their time on returning focus if you switch out and back.

I am certainly interested in what has been said about web client 2.0.
I am supposing that if the application comes up in an independent window that that window does not have to have the Standard Browser buttons which are inappropriate for the ProIV application.
Does anyone know of a timeframe for release on 2.0.
Thanks in advance,
Joseph
