I am running proiv 5.5r333 on redhat linux 9 and postgres ver 7.3.2. We have installed and created the datasources. I have setup the .odbc.ini file in the user home directory. I can connect to postges with that user by entering psql -s.

I still get a problem accessing a table in postgres. It gives an error code 385 (Unknown SQL Driver).
Everything looks correct. The only problem I get when trying to access any table through datamanager is (cannot SQLTable).

Can anyone give more advice.

Desperate

Luke

Luken,

Make sure the you do the following in your postgresql.conf file:

tcpip_socket = true

By default, postgreSQL does not allow access through the ODBC driver.

I forget if you have to restart postmaster after this.

hth,

Joseph
