Prior to ProIV v4.6, we had this same problem on our client devices (Windows TSE 1.0). Apparently, the ProIV client was attempting to write a temporary file to the root of the drive from which the ProIV client was executed (N:\Pro46).

The fix was to give NT user accounts Create privileges to files in the root of N:\ (but not necessarily to any of the child folders).

tnks all for the replies

I'll try changing the PROTEMP PROPRINTPATH to the c:

I'll look into upgrading the client as a possible solution

Giving Create permission to the Root:\ drive to all users is generally not possible (they did have this at one time and some fantastic things occurred) - Currently, the mgmt staff have admin rights (generally one per office/room) and as a workaround they run of these reports now.

Version 5 migration is in the pipeline to occur over next few months as well
