Its completely written in Visual Basic.
The reason I wrote this was because I (and also talking to many other people) was fed up of the serious lack of a good editor for ProIV
ProIV IDE communicates with ProIV via the standard Bus & Tasks that is supported by ProIV.
Bus & Tasks is a fast method for external languages (like VB & C) being able to communicate with ProIV.
ProIV IDE uses intuitive toolbars and uses all the standard windows features and is fully Windows XP themed.
All features are easy to find, and things are where you would expect them.
ProIV IDE directly modifies the native bootstrap code, so its very fast. There is no 'extra' layer like SuperLayer and VIP because this just slows things down and is not a good idea. So there is no conversion or special import needed to use ProIV IDE, you can just start using it, if you are using pure native (ie @MOD,ProAide, Developer Studio)
If you are using SuperLayer, then I will also, at some point be creating a function that will 'clean up' SuperLayer native code, so that it is more readable within a native editor like ProIV IDE.
I am thinking about if I need to make ProIV IDE also write to the VIP bootstraps, but this will be a switchable option, because it will slow down the operation of ProIV. And currently due to the lack of people using VIP it is not my priority.
