Hi,
I have noticed that if you are surfing my site with netscape
then you cannot press (and therefore do anything) any of the buttons in the Names DataBase.
This is now fixed!!!
Also...
After using netscape I found that the main forum
page with the posts on sometimes shows up blank (esp. when pressing the 'top of forum' button),
but I can't make it happen all the time.
Anyone else having problems using Netscape??
Thanks
Rob

I have had this problem too.
The names DB is working for me now though.
sometimes the 'Top of Forum' button loads a grey screen into
frame name='main' sometimes it loads your home page into this
frame as a subset of the first frame layout (ie 8 frames).
I have a screen print if you want it Rob.
It is really slow to load sometimes too.
Very imformative site though, good work.
off topic: Can the source of the ProIV binaries be found anywhere?
Steve.

Hi,
Thanks for the info about netscape.
Can you please email the the screen dump just so I can confirm the problem.
As for the source code for the binaries, I guess only PRO-IV have the source code. But it would be nice to have, so we could fix some of the bugs!!!!!

Have e-mailed you the screen dump.
I have to press re-load a few times before it will re-load it properly.
could be a netscape bug although I have never come accross this with other sites with frames.
Version is Netscape communicator 4.7
Has any one reverse compiled the binaries?

Rob: OK, I have the same problem with Netscape V4.6 on my RH6.1 box too.
I can't use lynx because you have frames.
Kfm (KDE browser) loads your main page into fram name='main' as well (like the screen print I mailed you)
If you have a look at the log, you should see a lot of reloads & alot of clicks on 'Top of Forum' button from my IP add.
You're HTML source looks ok though.
Are you using some sort of HTML editor for your site? I couldn't see anything relevant to an editor (we all know about 'microsoft's own standards').
Rob Fantini: What distro / window manager are you using on your Linux box?
Steve.
