If you are in edit with overstrike and use XOFFSET on a field it takes 3 presses of the ESC key to get out of the function. If you put a logic in the DISPLAY LOGIC point and call a global function that uses FNEXIT the entire function will exit. Using FNEXIT and LSEXIT in the display point does not work.

If I'm wrong about this, please hit me:

I think it's documented that the DISPLAY LOGIC is supposedly used only for ATTRIBUTE() commands... and don't use FNEXIT in a global function because that's not the only place it has that effect... and in edit with overstrike it takes 2 cancels just to get out of the field anyway (one to stop edit, one to exit the field) so 3 to get out of the function is normal...

You are right but we needed to exit the function with a single key stroke, user pressure. The FNEXIT will exit the main function as we required.
