Hi
I trying to find out how to do this, I have tried this with Pro-Isam files and it seems to work well. But does anyone know if there will be problems when there are more than one user accessing the same file?

Yes, there will be severe file corruption but perhaps not immediately.
a) Record Locking will not work
Each machine accessing the file will not observe the others 'critical section processing' when data and index pages are split.
You should consider
a)using Btrieve or Oracle
or
b)use the NT Server version of PRO IV
