In reading the information provide by Glovia, superlayer 5.0 has a new tool set that generates new code at the proiv level. This has to do with the decimal precision and currency changes. Does anyone have any insight into what the superlayer is doing? Glovia has not been able to help me.

Kevin

Glovia have gone their own way with Superlayer. Their version
is not the same as the PROIV standard version.

It is unlikely that this version will be available on
general release to non Glovia customers.

Regard

Peter

Peter,

Thanks for the response. Who does the development work for the Superlayer then? Does Glovia do it themselves or do they have PROiv? Thanks again.

Actually Kevin, PRO-IV develops Superlayer and Glovia then writes their own version of Superlayer to 'Include
customer functionality'. Case in point. PRO-IV Superlayer supports Bus and Task programming in the 4.6 kernel.
Glovia has just begun development of a version of Superlayer to create Bus and Task.

In point of fact, Glovia has 'de-flowered' SuperLayer by taking away the Task functionality found in all the PROIV released versions since 4.6.
They are trying to force their customers to buy their E-Commerce 'Solution' and trying to keep the customer base from developing thier own.
